Baseball Season is on its way for 2007

The start of baseball season. This past weekend we played in a pre-season tournament. Saturday games 10am & 4pm. Sunday 2:30. They won all 3 games and got trophies after the game on Sunday. The bat boy "Drew" was just so happy to be there and finally get to wear his uniform. Our regular season should start the last week of March. Which is Johns spring break. We were in and out all weekend. The Mitchells finally sold there home in Rome and had the closing on Friday. They stayed all weekend with us. We got to visit in between games and had an adult night out to dinner Saturday night. It was fun! Sunday night the time change didn't affect our home the boys crashed at 8:15 and Mom and Dad was not far behind.

Enjoying warm days

The boys were glad to be outside enjoying some of our warm days the first of March. Drew played basketball and John took the kite out to fly since it was a little windy. He thought he could show Patrick how to fly a kite. Patrick wasn't interest for long.

Vacation for MOM & DAD

We want to thank Chris' parents for allowing us to take a mini vacation so we could spend time together. It was sooo nice. No responsibilities, NO diaper changes, NO getting up at 6am, NO making sure 3 little boys were fed and dressed, JUST R&R! Don't get me wrong our children are wonderful and love all those things 24/7 for the past 7 1/2 years. But it was time for us to just enjoy each other and it was wonderful. We took 4 days and 3 nights at The Ritz-Carlton in Montego Bay, Jamaica where we were waited on and could eat and drink anytime of the day we wanted. The boys had a great time with Nana & Bob. The weather was great! Warm! The Ritz view from the pool. We must have timed winter break. There were a lot of families.

Mommys new project. Clothes for Patrick

Well my new project is learning how to sew. Like I don't have enough on my plate as it is. This was hard to take a picture of a moving object. I still need to hem the bottom and it was hard to pin up with Patrick running around.

Patricks Eye

I took Patrick this morning into the doctors office and she gave him an antibiotic for the infection in his eye. She said it was periorbital cellulitis. AND NOT orbital cellulitis, which is worse and goes back behind and around the eye and would have to be hosptizied for that. His infection at this point is only in his eye lid. She wants to see him back Wednesday morning to see if the antibiotic is working. This could turn into orbital cellulitis if not treated. I hope we don't get to that. He seems to be fine and running around playing.
