Happy 6th Birthday Drew!

For Drews Birthday we took him and two friends to the Atlanta Braves baseball game on Sunday June 8th. On Sundays kids get to run the bases after the game. It was also bat day for the first 1500 guest in the gate. After they ran the bases the boys got a t shirt too. It was HOT but fun. The boys had a blast! Chris was able to get a pictures of all 5 boys running the bases. Patrick was not old enough but as long as he would go with his brothers or by himself it was fine. No adults could go out there. Drew went first then Luke, Aaron, Patrick and John brought up the rear. They all past Patrick but he didn't care. Drew in the navy shirt, Luke in the blue shirt, Aaron in the navy shirt who had already passed Patrick at this time then Patrick and John. John's on his rear.

Congratulations Pepperell Dragons!

Johns baseball team finished first in the regular season and first in the county city tournament. What a game. I'm glad its over but it is so much fun during the season. We're taking a break for the summer and having fun. Below are a few pictures of the last game and the end of the season party at the city pool. Patrick had a blast! He's SAFE! As John slides into homeplate.
John got the last out of the tournament and got mobbed by his teammates.
Baseball party at the City Pool. Patrick comes down the slide. He wouldn't take No for an answer. He is a big boy. John would go down first and wait at the bottom for him to make sure to get Patrick out of the way before those big boys came down on top of him.

Kindergarten Program

Drew's kindergarten program was last night. He had a good time and we enjoyed watching it. Patrick even sat STILL for most of it. I told Drew it was his turn to shine and he was very excited. He had a little speaking part and then stood with 3 other boys and sang the ABC Rock song with his classmates. He had a blast and loved that part. Which just fits his personality.
1 2 3 Lets Hit it Boys!
Drew's teacher Mrs. Pacheco-Nichols. She got married in April. He has really enjoyed her this year. She even came to one of his baseball games a week or so ago. That was a hit. He wanted to show off in front of her.
Drew gets his diploma of Nursery Rhymes from kindergarten.

Happy 3nd Birthday Patrick!

Happy Birthday to Patrick. He woke up this morning and came down the stairs singing to himself. Happy Birthday to me.... Like he's special or something. I just laughed and laughed. Of course he is special to me. He had a family party this afternoon. After nap he and the other boys had birthday cake for snack and he opened his presents. Bob and Nonnie came over. We then went bowling on Patricks request. That's what he wanted to do for his birthday. And I'll have to say he's quite the bowler. Jaxon and Ellie joined us at bowling. Jaxon and John play on the same baseball team and Ellie and Patrick play together. We'll they do have to see a lot of each other during the week. Nana joined us when she got off work and we ate dinner at Olive Garden. I think he had a great day! I can't believe he's three. This is the picture he let me take last Wednesday to put in our local newspaper for his birthday. I couldn't believe how good it turned out.
The birthday boy!

Welcome

For those of you who did not know we are expecting our fourth and final child. Everything has been good and everyone in our home is very excited! John and Drew want another brother and Patrick says its his baby sister. I have felt well and like the other 3 pregnancy's its been great. Thank you God! Last week we had to make a trip to Atlanta to the Center of Perinatal Medicine for an ultrasound. Everything went well and they couldn't find anything wrong with our baby. The question... Do you want to know the sex? My response was NO and Chris' was YES. I told the ultrasound tech she could give it to Chris in an envelope once we left the office. We were there for other reasons. She scanned for 30 minutes and then the doctor came in and spoke to us for a while and he scanned too. He said everything looked great and the baby looked healthy. It was a very active baby. That was very exciting News. I was so glad to hear that. The sex was and is still my least concern for this child. Healthy was great news to hear. As we walked out of the office or should I say before we left the room, the doctor handed Chris and envelope and said here are you some pictures. He opened the envelope and with a great big grin from ear to ear. Said "It's A ???? He was so excited! Keep us in your prayers. A view of the hand and face area.
Below the cord is a Happy Little Girl! Pray for her as she continues to grow. And once she is here with us she'll need many more prayers when she has to come home to 3 older brothers.
Our due date is September 12, 2008. Yep. During football season. Chris has heard that a lot.
