Merry Christmas from our house to yours!

My three sons!
Its been loud at our house this morning. Drew set our home security system off this morning at 7:15 a.m. banging on the drums. Therefore Patrick didn't wake up in the best of moods. If you get what I'm saying. DRUMS & ALARM SOUNDING LOUD! It took him a while to get into the season. Then he was into everything Drew touched. Ha Ha. I might have converted him yet! I've been working on him for over 12 years. ROLL TIDE ROLL! I hope everyone has had a very Merry Christmas!

Otto our elf has been at work during the night

Otto our magical elf has been so fun this year. We only had him for 3 nights and 2 days. The boys loved him and look forward to next year to see him again during the holiday season. They hope he'll bring a friend next year. He was a great friend and playmate during the day and at night the boys had to feed him crackers, give him water and put snowflakes on him before bed. It kept the magic alive. He was mischief at night.

Moms first project of sewing

I made the boys Christmas PJs and John wanted to know why daddy didn't have any. Of course I made daddy some shorts too. Don't they look cute. HO! HO! HO!

Preschool Christmas Program~Drew & Patrick

Tuesday, Dec. 19 was Drew and Patricks last day of preschool before the holidays. They had a program that night in their shirts that were made out of love at preschool. They both did a real good job. Of course mommys or daddys had to join the ones up on stage. You know who gets that job in our house. Yep, Mommy. Patrick had a good time. Drew is in the top left corner and Patrick and I are in the bottom right corner.

Visit with Santa

The boys visited Santa twice this season and Drew kept his same list. Drums and a fire station with fire stuff. John never really told us anything much other than a four wheeler. He had said moon shoes, baseball game and baseball throwing net. Patrick didn't really care. He likes anything and everything that his brother Drew has.

Miracle on Main Street Christmas pageant

Our church Fellowship had a children Christmas show last night. Both the boys were in it. They had been practicing since September. A lot of work went in to it. They had a good time and I wanted to share some pictures of the boys during the show. John was just in the Children's choir and Drew was in the preschool choir. Drew dressed up as a shepherd in the last song (the only part they were in) and the preschool sang before the show too. Drew wasn't fired up about putting on a costume but he did good. Drew as a shepherd and John in the background. Preschool Choir before the program started singing Christmas carols. These kids are 3, 4, & 5 year olds.

Romes Christmas Parade

Our church put a float in the Christmas parade this year for the kids performing in the Christmas show "Miracle on Main Street" which is this Sunday evening. The preschool choir will have a part and could ride on the float but Drew wanted to stay with mom and watch the parade. We sat with the Swansons and Mr. and Mrs. Clark. Drew had a ball sitting on the top of the truck behind Sherman and Betty Clark. Patrick sat by his buddy Will Holcombe to start off and sat still watching all the floats, bands noise, I should say. I did have to put him in the back of the truck after a while. He got restless. We were surprised that he sat as long as he did. John and Jarrett playing around waiting to board the float. Picture taken by Naomi. Mark Swanson, Jarrett and John at the back of the float. They had a blast! Patrick looks out of it but it was probably the photographer. Patrick and Will.

Leaves Leaves & More Leaves

After having a great Thanksgiving with family in Alabama and of course eating way too much we came home to lots of yard work. The boys had a lot of fun playing in the leaves. Daddy made them a leave pile to play in while he worked in the yard. They stayed outside most of the day. Even brought leaves in the house. I loved that. John and Drew found a dump truck and put their small behind in it and road down the hill into the pile of leaves. I don't know who came up with this bright idea. But it worked.

Drews Thanksgiving Feast at Preschool

Patrick and I went to Drews Thanksgiving feast at preschool. Therefore I spent most of my time chasing Patrick around the room. He did like the lunch and sitting by big brother was great!

The Tooth Fairy

John came to me at 6:30 am on Monday Oct. 30 to tell me his tooth was loose. He was so excited! If you only knew how much this was a BIG deal. Santa pictures were Friday, Nov. 4 and that is what I thought about. Can it wait until Friday afternoon to come out? Everyone has lost a tooth mama. When am I going to loose a tooth? I've heard this for two years. Well it finally came out last night, Nov. 19th while at church eating ice cream. Yes, Ice Cream. That's how loose it was. I was in the room with him and he went crazy. So excited and running over to me. My baby below is missing his first tooth.

Field Trip to the Fire Station

Drew had a field trip to the fire station last week. His daddy took off work for an hour or so and went with him. Drew was so excited! He loves FIRE TRUCKS! Daddy even did a good job taking pictures of the special event.

A Night Out for MOM & DAD!

After Johns birthday party we were off to a night out in Rome for our first Cotillion event of the year. Yes, I had my hair done before the birthday party so I could just dress when we got home since the party was 4-6 pm. Some of those parents probably thought I was crazy or just wore my hair like this all the time. NOT!

Happy 7th Birthday John!

It's hard to believe that John is 7 years old. He had his party last Saturday at Sparkles. They had a great time. Even Patrick!

Happy Halloween!

"The Incredibles" Patrick checking out the finished product. He said "Hot". John was a space commander in the his Halloween parade at school. A space commander day and Mr. Incredible at night.

Wild West Day at Preschool

Instead of dressing up for Halloween at preschool they have a "Wild West Day" So here are my little Cowboys. I couldn't get one of them together. Kids will be Kids! Drew had fun playing games, riding on a hayride and on a pony. Patrick did special things in the classroom. I've gotten my moneys worth on these outfits. John and Drew wore them two years ago. Same day, same event. And I bought them on clearance.

Pumpkin Carving Time

As a tradition we alway get a large pumpkin from Burts Farm to put our children inside of at carving time. At least the first Halloween that they could stand up. And this year it's Patricks turn. He really didn't know what to think while Chris was cleaning it out.
John wanted to look inside. Daddy almost got him. I said NO! I don't want to go wash his hair. Patrick didn't like being inside but ha no one else did. John and Drew couldn't stand it that they were too big to get inside the pumpkin so Chris got them and turned them upside down and told them to yell inside it. They didn't like it before when I wanted them inside it.

Fall Festival

John on the rock climbing wall This really made Drews day. He got to sit in the fire truck with the hat on while they started the engine and let him hit the siren. WOW! Patrick found the putt putt golf game and didn't want to leave. He had to be carried away. Without a golf ball too. He soon got over it while he walked around with a sucker.

Halloween Party

The club had a Halloween party for the kids Friday night so we took the boys for dinner which was hot dogs, hamburger, wings, chicken fingers, cookies then off to the party room where they had a craft table, table for decorating cookies, and a table to do a coloring sheet. We found out that Patrick loved the coloring table where he could color on a pumpkin sheet and play in all the colors. He stayed content while the others did a craft. John did a bag and Drew did a visor. Chef came out and carved a pumpkin and later someone told stories. They paraded the kids (about 30ish) around the grill down stairs so the people in the grill eating dinner could see all the costumes. We didn't stick around for story time because we wanted to be home by 8:00 so the kids could watch The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. They agreed so it was easy to leave.

"The Incredibles"

Mr. Incredible, DASH, & Jack Jack

Yumm! So big they couldn't eat them.

Jack Jack coloring or should I say having fun!
