Christmas

We are all very excited about Christmas in the Cromer home. We are so blessed to celebrate the birth of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Tonight we'll go hear wonderful Christmas music and listen to the hand bells at church. We always look forward to the Candle Light Service each year. The kids do too. Making traditions are so speical. Looking forward to the holidays with family and wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas!
Children is what Christmas is all about! Young and Old!

Go Wolfpack!

John got to be one of the team captains in today's game. He had a great game with lots of tackles. They won big and I'm so proud of him. Yeah Wolfpack! Johns #47. Chris walks in front of my picture. He wasn't so nice to get my camera and take a closer up picture b/c I forgot my "Big" camera. We played good friends too, some of Johns baseball teammates and church friends. It was fun. It was nice to get to visit with those people that we don't see much.
Love them! Caroline loves her brothers too.
Can't believe she is 13 mos. today.

Happy 89th Birthday!

We took Chris' grandmother out to dinner for her 89th birthday celebrated Oct. 1. We took her to as Patrick calls it "the grape house" for those of you who do not know where that is... Olive Garden. Don't you see the grapes on the front as you walk in. ha ha. She is such a blessing to us and we have enjoyed her coming over during the week some. I'm so glad our children have gotten to know her. Happy Birthday Nonnie!

Poor Princess.

Wednesday was a day off schedule for the Princess. So at church no one could keep her up. Which was fine. We would do the norm when we got home to put everyone to bed. Only C chose not to do the norm. It took me 3 hrs to get her down. So NOT the norm. Thursday am she refused to take a nap and usually lays right down. I'm thinking maybe something is wrong and maybe I should go get her ears checked. CHECK! All good. She's fine the dr. said. Don't see any problems. So that brings me to Thursday night when I lay her down and felt she could CRY it out. Two hours and 10 minutes later were still going. On and Off that is.
Come to find out when she was off, she had fallen asleep still standing and would lose her balance and wake back up crying. Poor thing. I finally after taking pictures of this went and picked her up. (Crying stopped as I reached for her) and rocked her for 5 minutes and then laid her in the bed for the night. Rotton!
I have NEVER rocked a baby to sleep and I can't start now. We do rock a lot but NOT to go to sleep.

It's FOOTBALL time at the Cromers

Going on the sixth year of a football field at the Cromers house. The guess is over. People always want to know what will it be next.... It's been Georgia x 2, Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama and now It's CLEMSON! Which only made sense because the boys went to their football camp this summer and LOVED it. It takes daddy weeks of preparation and about two days to put it together and months of playtime. What more could three boys ask for?

Family Photos on the Beach

Beach Time

Caroline enjoyed the beach and the ocean.
John and Patrick dug a hole in the sand until they reached water. Everyone thought it was cool.
Caroline plays or eats rubber duckie while sitting in her little pool.
The stud as he thinks in our family.
The beach beauty poses in her sunglasses.
The boys loved playing in the ocean together. It really was nice weather the entire week. It felt like it was October. NICE!
This pool was used for many things while on the beach. Something to swim in, nap in, change clothes in, alittle bit of everything.
Every evening was full of fun with a new place to eat out and activities afterwards. Putt Putt is always a good one along with shopping and riding go carts. Something the kids look forward to every year.
Mommy and Me. I love it!
John loves to bury himself in the sand and I had to finish him up.
Sweet... John helps take care of his baby sister.

Summer time

Just thought I'd up date everyone on our family during this summer. Chris has been on me for a while for my updates. I just have soooo much FREE time. Drew played baseball all stars all summer and ended late July. He had fun but it was busy with tournaments and practices. Most all of the tournaments were less than 40 miles from our house. So that was good. We didn't let John play. That wouldn't have worked with two playing all summer so it was Drews turn. Other than baseball we hung out by the pool most of the summer. John went to Church camp (Centri-Kid) and he had fun. Patrick and Caroline were just in tow. She is growing every day and hard to believe she will be 11 months old on Monday. John started football practice this week. We're gearing up for school which starts on Monday. All three of the boys are ready and excited. We met teachers today and yesterday and all was good. Yeah! Patrick is going to pre-kindergarten and is VERY excited. A teammate of Drews got hurt. Busted noise and was out of the World Serious late July. Drew thought of Ethan while he was out by his support on his eye black and the team wore red wrist bands.
Drew made some great plays while playing pitcher. His team was the Rome Braves.
Caroline was busted climbing the stairs. This has been the only time she tired it. I guess that fell done her in. Maybe... I'm sure she'll try it again soon.
4th of July spent with wonderful family cooking out by the pool. My niece and nephew came over from Birmingham with their mom Kathy and my brother and wife Tina came over too. Nana and Grandpa Bob were here for the fun as well. It's nice to spend holidays with family. I wish everyone could have come but it was really nothing planned since Drew was playing in the Dizzy Dean State Baseball Tournament here in Rome that weekend. Above my brother in the pool with Caroline. He thought we would let her go to swim on her own "to see what she would do but thought I'd kill him if he did". I was in the house at the time.
The boys playing in the pool with their oldest cousin, Travis. He's 23 and they had a BLAST! They still talk about it. Abby was around but I thought she might get me if I put a picture of her in her swim suit on my blog. Love her!
John and Drew attended the Clemson Football camp. They had fun but worked hard for two long days. Those boys had never work and ran and played so hard from sun up to past sun down. This is a picture of them with the head football coach of Clemson, Coach Dabo Swinney and below pictured with Perry Tuttle.

A new family member

Like we needed to add an addition to our already "big" family. Our new pet puppy that we have named Buddy. Isn't he cute? We'll there is a sad story behind this new addition. Our dog max had cancer and we found out Sunday that it had spread into his upper leg with a tumor that burst. It looked bad. He had an opening in his leg the size of a golf ball so Chris had to take him to the vet Sunday afternoon where we had to put him down. It broke Johns heart more than any of the other boys but Drew was sad too. John got max when he was 2. Anyway Chris went to work on Monday and a told a friend in the office what happened on Sunday. He just happened to have a 10 week old puppy at home and wanted to give it to the boys. Any other time I would have said NO but after watching John hurt and cry himself to sleep the night before... well... we have a new puppy. He is so far pretty good and loves the boys. John was woke up this morning at 6:55 to a puppy cry and took him out to the restroom. I'm sure he'll keep it up. If any child needs a dog it would be John.

Happy 7th Birthday to Drew

It's hard to believe we celebrated Drews 7th birthday last week. He picked his dinner spot on Monday at Sumos and a "BIG" pool party on Tuesday. WOW! A busy week. It was fun and how fast they grow up.

Time to Lower the Crib

Yes, she had been upset. Not only did we see a tooth coming through the gum today but daddy had to lower the mattress in the crib. When little Miss. Prissy didn't want to take a nap today daddy went to check on her and found her like this. Therefore family meeting was called... someone to hold her while he lowered the mattress. She is getting so big.
