Team of the Night at the Rome Braves

Darlington Tigers 5/6 year olds were team of the Night at the Rome Braves baseball game Saturday night. Drew plays pitcher for his team so he stood with the pitcher of the Braves. The pitcher gave Drew a ball and it made his night. Drew looked at it and started to hand it back to the guy and he said you can keep it. Drew was like Wow! I can keep it.

Caroline's Baby Dedication

This morning was Baby Dedication at church for Caroline. My Dad and my Aunt drove over from Alabama and for those of you who do not know... That's GODS country. Chris' parents and grandmother joined us at church. Caroline did very well. While Pastor May held her and talked about her she played with the pulpit microphone then decided to eat it. Everyone laughed but hey... she didn't cry. It was very touching for me. Caroline wore the same gown that all three boys wore at their dedication. On the slip has all four children's names, DOB, and Dedication date. My step-mother arranged for a friend of hers to make a lace sash that she had said she would make if we ever had a little girl. I missed her today but I know she was looking down on us. She saw Caroline special day too.

Happy Easter

Chris thought getting the boys baby ducks for Easter would be a good idea. When we went to get "3" ducks we came home with 6 ducks. Patrick and Caroline went with us and Patrick said there are six in our family. He is right. After about 6 wks we'll release them to a pond. These are totally Chris' responsibility. It's different for us anyway.
Good Morning and Happy First Easter Sweet Baby Caroline.
My first Easter
The boys had already busted in their baskets. Well I got up at
5am and had to put John and Drew back to bed. John had woke
Drew up at 5am. What am I going to do with him. He is such an early bird.
Heading out to Church
After lunch we got someone to take a family photo for
Caroline's first Easter. I wish we had more family that lived near us.
One day our family will be that family. I'm in NO hurry. The time does go by fast.

Easter Egg Hunt & Coloring Eggs

Saturday morning we went for breakfast and Egg Hunt. The Easter bunny was there so we got a picture of all the kids. When we got home from that we decided to color Easter eggs while Caroline took her morning nap. It was fun and every listened this year. Thats always nice. I promise it doesn't happen often.

Chris took John and Drew to the other side where their age group had to find the eggs. It was broken up into 3 age groups. All three boys were in a different group so Caroline and I took Patrick. John found the prize egg in his group. Yeah for John!

Preschool Easter Egg Hunt

This past Thursday we had Patricks preschool Easter Egg Hunt at our house. Yes, At our house. That included 33 (3yr olds) and a parent or 2 or grandparents. It was such good weather and we couldn't have asked for more. It was suppose to have been Tuesday when it was so cold. What a day can make. It was fun. We had pizza and cupcakes with juice boxes. Patrick had so much fun having all his friends over to his house. He asked "Mommy can we do this again?" He also said it was the best day with a great big ol smile. My heart melted. He wakes up to a new world every morning.
And their loose.
Nana stopped by on her way to work and watched the kids
while I got ready for everyone to come and another mother
helped me hide a lot of eggs. Roughly 400 that is.
Daddy came home for the event. Caroline took her morning
nap during the entire egg hunt. That was easy. She got up just
before Patricks teacher left.
Ms. Melissa class.
There were two other classes that joined us this day.
We were glad to host the egg hunt for the
entire three year olds at the preschool.
