Patricks Eye

I took Patrick this morning into the doctors office and she gave him an antibiotic for the infection in his eye. She said it was periorbital cellulitis. AND NOT orbital cellulitis, which is worse and goes back behind and around the eye and would have to be hosptizied for that. His infection at this point is only in his eye lid. She wants to see him back Wednesday morning to see if the antibiotic is working. This could turn into orbital cellulitis if not treated. I hope we don't get to that. He seems to be fine and running around playing.

Patrick's eye

I'll have to take Patrick to the doctor tomorrow. His eye has been swollen since last Thursday and is not getting any better. Of course he want leave it along and hates the eye drops. He'll run the other direction when he sees the drops coming his way. His eye lid is so swollen it will not open very much. Below is a picture of Patrick holding his blanket "MINE" has he calls it and a blanket his great grandmother "Nonnie" made him. He has started dragging it around and saying Nonnie. He knows that Nonnie gave it to him a few months ago when she finished it.

Georgia Aquarium

Our first trip to the Georgia Aquarium. The boys had a great time. Their favorite things they saw were John: Sharks, Drew: Penguins, Patrick: fish swimming above and all around him, Daddy liked the sea turtle and Mommy enjoyed watching Patrick bark back at the sea lions.

Happy New Years!

Its better late than never. Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Years!

Brothers taking care of little brother

Patrick loves to be rubbed. John rubs his tummy so he'll sit in his lap for a while. Patrick got hot in the house so I took off his under shirt. He climbed up in Drews lap to get his back rubbed. This was a surprise to me. He stayed a while.

Holidays with family

Our family didn't go to Alabama this year for Christmas to visit with my family. It's crazy around here before the holidays with three children. Well thats everyday. We like to stay home for Christmas. My grandparents came to our house Tuesday after Christmas and it was so nice. She called at 1:30 and said "What are you doing tonight? The boys were very excited to have them come, even if it was just over night. (Those pictures are at the bottom) The kids with their great grandparents. Then my dad and Joyce came Saturday after Christmas. A week long Christmas. WOW! The boys loved it. My dads visit was short too and just over night. We're thinking that no one can handle a house full of small little joys for any lengh of time. Ha Ha. We will take what we get. We love to have them visit. We don't see them a lot during the year and it doesn't take Patrick as long to warm up to them when were at our house. I wish I had family closer. Those of you that do are really lucky. I know some of you feel my pain. Love them while their here because when their gone, its too late. Daddy and Grandma Joyce with the boys and me of course with Patrick Patrick and his great grandmother Taylor Papaw Red and Mamaw Taylor with the boys
