Rome Braves... Team of the Night!

Pepperell Dragons were the team of the night at the Rome Braves baseball game Friday night. WOW! You would have thought these boys won the lottery. Excited... don't explain it. They got to run out onto the playing field and stand in their position with a Rome Brave player during the National Anthem. Since Drew was the bat boy he got to choose anywhere he wanted to go and he chose to go to the pitchers mound with is brother.
Go Dragons!
The Cromer boys.
They put each boy up on the video board and was told they could do something silly. John decided to pull his mouth out.
Drew just waved.

Happy 2nd Birthday Patrick!

It's hard to believe that Patrick turned 2 on Friday. He is such a "BIG" boy now. And yes, I say that out of sadness. Even no more diapers... Well, this is unbelievable but true. Hey... I want complain since we've been buying them for 7 1/2 years straight. He had a great birthday. We actually celebrated it on Sunday with a trip to Chattanooga, TN to visit A Day Out with Thomas. We met my sister and her husband and grandson, Brian who will be 3 in June. They had a great time and so did we.
Patrick and the boys did have a cup cake Friday on his birthday as we sang "Happy Birthday" to him before we left the house. He got to open his presents too.
A Day Out with Thomas! "Sir Tophan Hatt" Patrick heard a train and headed off to see it. He doesn't do pictures well anyway. He has a problem standing still.

April in the making

Its been crazy here at the Cromer house. Sorry for the delay on my posting. Here is an update since my last post and all the things that's happened in April. Its hard to believe April is almost gone. And the fact that Patrick will be two tomorrow. WOW! How time flies. Happy Birthday Patrick!! Stay tuned for an update tomorrow. BASEBALL... BASEBALL... BASEBALL... All month John and Drew have had games. Above John is playing pitcher. That is what he plays mostly but sometimes he'll play center field. This was a photo in action as he got the runner on first OUT.
First grade field trip to the Atlanta Zoo. Chris got to go on this field trip. A lot of dads went and got to experience being a chaperon.
While John plays baseball, Drew had a few golf lessons. He enjoyed going out on the course the last day. Patrick and I joined him to see what all he had learned. He made an 80 yard shot all in the air. I don't know much about golf but his instructor said it was good.
Patrick calls Nana and Bob to tell them his "BIG" news. "I stay dry all day" He's wearing big boy underwear. SHOCK to me, but its exciting! He's done real well since the Monday after Easter.
Alabama A Day Game. Yes, we joined the other 92,000 + fans for the spring game in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It was a fun day and we met my aunt, uncle and cousin there too.
Patrick all smiles in his outfit grandma made him. Although it was so cold Easter the boys couldn't wear their Easter outfits to church.
The Cromer family Easter.
The boys with their Easter baskets. Full of goodies.
Mom celebrated another birthday on the 6th. Cake after dinner with the boys.
Chris and John make their annual Masters Golf trip on Monday of the Masters.

Spring Break

Thursday... This is what happens when a one year old walks in the path of a four year old swinging a baseball bat. Of course everyone was scared and screaming crying. Mommy (that would be me) calls daddy at work (which he had a client in his office) and all I could get out was Drew hit Patrick with a baseball bat. Then I got weak!!! Hung up the phone on daddy. Opps! When Nana walks in with John 5min. later and Mommy (that would be me) on the phone trying to get through to the doctors office. As I rush Patrick to the doctors office and Chris pulls up at home to find out this bat was a plastic bat. That made everyone feel a little better. We still had x-rays done to find out there were no major damage. This is what end Johns Spring Break. Well, Monday he'll miss school to go with his daddy to the Masters. He's real excited! Patrick is healing well. Just looks bad and you should hear the comments I get. Drew felt really bad. I was outside unloading my car and told the boys they could play for 10 min. before coming in to take a nap. Well, no one got a nap. These pictures were taken Friday as we came home from Atlanta.

Sewing

It's been a while since I've been able to sew. I have missed it and told Chris I wanted to make Patrick some more summer outfits. I was excited for him to wear this one. It was only my third outfit to make and my first to fully line. He really didn't want me to take his picture so its hard working with a moving target.
