My First Hair Cut
This morning we went for Patricks first hair cut. He didn't think much of it with mommy holding him down. But we made it. No more shaggy hair. Nice and clean cut.
Today's My First Birthday!
Today one year ago we gave birth to our third child. It was so exciting and I'm proud that I have three healthy boys. Today Patrick turned ONE. This past year has passed by fast. It's hard to believe that he is already one. I think, "where did the time go." We celebrated his birthday last night. Daddy works late tonight and Nana was off last night too. We had BBQ chicken, Potato salad, baked beans and BBQ bread. Patrick loved it!! He likes REAL food now. I couldn't give him enough chicken. I finally had to stop (which made him mad) so he would have room for cake.
Not really happy about the hat. It was John and Drew's, so...
Had to have a little help from Daddy to get started.
Didn't want to touch it at first so he used Daddy's fork. Whatever works.
Yum! Yum! Good!
As Patrick plays with a car, John and Drew open his presents that they got him.
Look at my loot! Thank you to the Mitchells, I like my singing bear! I stood up and danced for a while. My mommy was impressed.
Thanks to Nana & Bob for the car that makes lots of noise. I like it.

A long day for Drew
When I got the 2nd game this afternoon (I missed the 1st one so Patrick could get his afternoon nap) Drew told me he was tired. I wondered if I should have let him stay home for his nap but thought he'd enjoy the game. We put the boys to bed at 7:40 and it didn't take long for all 3 of them to crash. Chris went up stairs at 8:15 to check on them and he found Drew at the top of the stairs out cold. He was sooo tired. He and John had to of gotten up between 5:30 & 6:00 a.m. this morning. I heard them giggling at 6:00 a.m. That's why I don't let them sleep together. Daddy gave into them last night.
Baseball Tournament
John had a baseball tournament this weekend. We played Friday at 5:30. WON! Doubleheader Saturday 3:00 WON! & 4:00 WON! There were only 4 signed up to play in this tournament for the 5/6 year old teams. Johns team came in first place and got a trophy. I didn't realize that Drew would get one. Coach Shiffett asked Chris before the game if he could have one. Of course, YES! So the bat boy got one too. He was so excited. "Mommy, My first trophy". Coach Shiffett put the bat boy first so I didn't get picture of Drew receiving it. But hey, I'm doing good to get to the games and bring my camera. ha ha

Patrick first steps
Patrick has been taking a step or two here and there for a week but today was the most. John and I looked up and Patrick walked 6 or so steps to his high chair all by himself. He has started just letting go of whatever he's holding on to and taking more and more steps. It's so exciting to watch. His first birthday is a week from this Thursday and it seems like the past year has gone by so fast.

Easter Sunday
Family Day. After church we ate out at the club. The five of us. There was so much food. Prime rib, ham, roast beef, and so much more. A salad table with every salad and fruit that there is and another table full of desserts. So many to choose from. Of course on the children buffet table there was Mac-n-cheese, curly fries, cheese sticks and hot dogs. (Usually it chicken fingers) John said "daddy, I like Easter, they have hot dogs" Daddy tells the boys that Christmas and Easter is my day to dress them. Drew wanted to wear this morning what John and Daddy was wearing. Don't he look good and most of all innocent. I was surprised that we didn't have a melt down this morning but I think its because daddy was on my side.
Easter Morning
John was up and ready to go at 6:30 this morning. The rule is 7:00. So he had to hang out in his room until then. He and I came downstairs at 7:04. He was excited about the Easter bunny but wanted to know when Drew could get up. I really don't know when Drew got up because he had gone and climbed in bed with daddy.
John didn't pull his out until Drew came downstairs. He likes to wait on his brother.
Later when Patrick got up and downstairs both John and Drew had to help.
Yummy! Yummy! Chocolate bunny!

Big Game for John!
We were a little nervous about this game. This was a big one against the only other un-defeated team. John and the Dragons came through big time. Pepperell won 20-14 and John was a major factor in this one. He went 4 for 4 with a Homerun and 3 Doubbles. He scored 3 times and drove in 7 more for a total of half of the teams runs! We're now 9 and 0 but there is still a lot of baseball to go. We play the same team on Monday. While in the field, he also taged out two and threw someone out at second base to end a ralley. John asked his Daddy after the game if that was the bestest game ever? You bet it was! John also asked his Daddy if he ever had played that good in a game when he was a little boy. Daddy just smiled and said, "I just did"!
Brothers
John and Drews new thing is wanting to sleep together. I'll let them when we don't have school. John likes Drew to sleep in his bed. He said he don't sleep in Drew's bed as well. I said it was the bed you slept in for 3 years before we passed it to Drew. John just laughed. My aunt made them their own pillow cases and brought them last weekend when she visited. John had to make sure Drew had his when he came in his room. We'll let them sleep together once a week or so. This is big! Last summer when they had to share a bed, John put Drew on the floor. Now that's all they want to do is sleep together. I'm sure it's just another phase.

First Baptist Church Preschool Egg Hunt @ The Cromers
Thursday 4/13 we hosted the 3 classes of Three year olds at First Baptist Church Preschool where Drew goes to school to have there Easter Egg Hunt at our house. Drew was very excited. That meant a lot of eggs to hide. Luckily, John was out of school Thursday and helped me hide the eggs before the 36 children and their parents arrived at 10am. We had roughly 70 folks out in our yard. It really wasn't bad and turned out great! The weather... well, we couldn't have asked for better. Chris came home and Nana came to help out with Patrick before she went to work. Patrick naps around 10:30 so he was able to enjoy a little of it.
WOW! Look at all those eggs.
Again Nana walks with Patrick.
When the teachers said GO! Drew along with the others were moving fast! We put the 3 classes in different areas of the yard. One class went to the front, the other to the side and Drews in the far back. It was great and everyone had a good time. We ordered 10 pizzas sliced in 10 slices per pizza and we only had 4 slices left over. Not to bad. I got some pictures but not as many as I would have liked. It was busy.
Baseball Tues. vs. Garden Lakes
Its been a busy week again. Monday practice and a game Tuesday. We won 23-3. John is batting so well this year. We practiced Thursday and a game today, Friday. We won again 23-8.
Look at that handsome boy! They grow up so fast.
And little man being walked around by his Nana. That's what he likes to do now. He is standing alone much better this week. He took 3 steps today.

Palm Sunday - Childrens Choir
The children did a good job this morning during worship. The ages range from 3 to 6. Drew was so excited to go to BIG church with mommy & daddy. He really went with Ms. Jackie then back to extented session. The boys love Ms. Jackie and the other ladies who help her on Sunday evening during choir practice. Tonight Ms. Jackie gave them an Easter party with gold fish snacks, bunny cake and cup cakes. And a bag of goodies for them all.
Aunt Betty & Uncle Randys visit
My aunt and uncle from the great state of Alabama came over this weekend. They came over for the first time and visited. John had 2 games, one Friday night and one Saturday. I wanted to take pictures there but Friday's game was well, I'll say we met our match. We won 21-19 but it was a great ball game. And Saturday's game the weather was cooler and we had a rain delay. In other words it hard to take pictures and keep my needy child. he he That would be Patrick at this time. But we had a great time and a wonderful visit.
Monday at the Master's Golf Tournment
John got to miss school Monday and go with Daddy to Augusta, GA to see the first practice round of the Master's. They left the house at 2:30am to meet another guy in Cedartown with is mother. And off they went at 3:00am. They arrived at 7:30 as the gates opened. John laid in the grass and asked daddy why our yard couldn't look this good. They had a good day. They left after lunch and was home in time for John's baseball practice at 5:00. What a day! The time change really did us in.
Bat Boy
Tuesday night baseball vs. Dophins. The final was 19-1. We won again!! Yeah!! The boys are doing so well but most of all having a lot of fun. It was Drews first time to be bat boy. He loved it! Its hard for me to keep up with him and fight with Patrick. Besides Drew would always hang out by the dug out by his daddy. He couldn't go in so he'd hang outside the fence. Last Saturday, he had to wear a uniform. Everyone thought he was cute. Coach Jeff told him he should be bat boy. Today was the day. Drew thought he was part of the team and the "big" boys loved it too.
People in the stands would tell Drew good job! Yeah!
Drew got lazy on the job and hung out for a while. He had to take a break and get a lolliepop too.
John bringing it home. He's hitting the ball a lot better this year. Well, running we'll always have to work on. He's not the fastest runner. he he He gets that from his daddy.
John on second base. This team had 2 or 3 girls on it as you can see in the background. They were pretty good.
