Parent/Child Golf Tournament
Last Saturday Chris took John and Drew to play in the annual Parent/Child golf tournament. He took John two years ago and this was Drews first one. The boys had a great time playing with their dad. It was a dad day all day. They also had a two hour rain delay. I wonder how that went but they boys said it wasn't bad. They just watched the weather and talked to friends. They didn't start until 1:45. John tied for first but because of the last hole he came in second in his age group. Drew came in second in his age group. They were excited for each other. They both got prizes. That's always fun. Chris had to play with each son and it was a scramble. It was long for him.
These are the kids that placed with their dad.

Summer time construction
Just thought I'd update you on our summer time construction job. And its been a job. But come mid August we'll get to enjoy it a lot. I'll really enjoy it next summer when I can put two napping babies to rest and still let the other two swim. And myself too. It will be easier on me. The boys are excited and can't wait to jump in. We want pour concrete until August so the ground can settle around the pool but they will probably be able to take a dip in it later this week. We'll just have to put a board or something to the steps. The thing covered with wood is a buddy seat in the deep end where us big folks can sit in the deep in and watch the kids jump off the diving board. We saw it in another pool here and thought it was neat so we added it to ours.
Digging it out. Wow! Its been neat to watch and entertaining for the boys with BIG tractors in our yard.

Happy 4th of July
We hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July. It was nice having it on a Friday this year. Of course our children were gone until after lunch on Friday. Chris and I got a lot of things done around the house. As you know we have to make room for one more in our family soon. John was at an overnight sleepover with Camp Darlingon and the others stayed the night with Nana and Bob. At 5:30 we went out to the pool and had a large cookout and let the kids swim for a while. It was fun! After a bath and putting PJ's on, off to see the fireworks downtown. We just found a good parking spot and watched them from the car. As you can see the boys were saked out before even making it home from the fireworks. I think John would have stayed home at 8:00 and went to bed, he was so tired.
