Updates
Sorry for the late updates. Its been a crazy week. It started out with a sitter on Monday while Chris & I went to funeral home. Tuesday was the funeral of a good friend of Chris', Dan Teems. He and his wife Diane went to the beach with us in July. He was 52. He and Chris has played golf for years together and have made a trip to the MASTERS (golf in Augusta, GA) for the past 8 to 10 years. Wednesday I took Patrick for his check up with the Urologist in Atlanta. It went well and he has recovered good. John has been playing Golf after school two days a week. He likes it and is doing well. Drews class was learning the letter E this week so on Thursday I went to his school and we made "E"ggs and "E"lephant ears. Our eggs were green and the kids didn't know what to think about that. I usually go every Thursday to make something with the letter their learning. The kids enjoy helping me cook.
The Final Project!
What Chris dreamed of as a child to have in his backyard. Stayed tuned for the Tennessee vs. Georgia game at Cromer field. The boys love playing football in the yard. I just have to find some flags for flag football. I think they get a little rough. Drew is always talking about the "GAME" they will have tonight. Talking about when John gets home. They'll even go out and kick field goals when the other one want play. Imagine that.
Drews first Auburn game in Auburn
A friend of Chris' gave Drew (our Auburn fan) two tickets to the Auburn vs. Buffalo game last Saturday. It was a filled day as they left right after the soccer game. Chris said he talked the entire trip. All the way to Auburn, all during the game and until he fell asleep on the journey home. He sang fight songs and anything he could think of to stay awake. He had a blast and everyone around commented on how good he was. They all wanted to know how old he was.

It's game time at the Cromers House
It was Auburn in 2004 then Georgia in 2005 and for 2006 we have Tennessee. I personally wanted Alabama this year but well I am the only female in the house so I was out numbered again. Chris is hard at work getting the field together today. After this year all he'll need are the lights and a stadium. I'll keep you posted.

Doing Good!
I think the surgery was harder on mommy and daddy than it was on Patrick. He seems to be recovering very well. We have had to take away any and all riding toys for a week. He doesn't need to straddle anything. He seems to find something else to do with his time. He did find a riding toy (that I didn't put away good) and that was not fun taking it away. His stitches will come out by themselves in the weeks to come. And mommy and daddy are doing just fine. I'm glad it's over!

Surgery Day for Patrick
This morning we had to be at "The Surgery Center at Scottish Rite" in Atlanta for Patricks surgery. Hard to talk about but to have his private parts fixed. He want remember it 6 months from now. But potty training will go better for mommy. When that time comes. We decided to stay in a hotel a block away from the surgery center since he couldn't have anything to eat or drink after midnight. Never has he ever woke up in the middle of the night since newborn. Ask Chris about the beds. Not good! We didn't sleep well. But Patrick was our reason for staying. Patrick went to sleep at 9:30 easy. He was so tired. Ate a good dinner. He had been having bad diapers and had a rash. Well at 2:15 a.m. he had gone to the bathroom. Which woke him b/c of the rash burning. He was so good to lay in bed with Chris and I and finally fell asleep at 5:30. Only asking for juice once. (3:00 a.m.) This was such a hard day for me as a mommy. Never have any of our children had to be put to sleep. Patrick was a trooper! I got to take him back to OR and he told daddy BYE and told all the nurses BYE. LOUD! So happy and not a clue. For me to take him back to OR was hard. I laid him on that table in the cold room. He said Mamma! In less than a minute he was asleep and I had to leave. HARD! Dr. Scherz came out after 45 minutes and said he did well. It was the longest hour of my life. He is home sleeping now. They said he may not walk 4-6 hrs. but as soon as we got home he was gone. NO help from mommy. So far he has not had any nausea. We're proud of him!
Before surgery Patrick watches cartoons with Daddy.
After surgery he lays in mommys lap trying to wake up good and take juice. They normally put the IV in the left arm but on Patrick they had to use the right so he could have his 2 left fingers when he got up along with his blankie.

Sally Foster support! Thanks!
Thank you to all of you that supported Johns school fund raiser. He sold Sally Foster in August and no it has not come in yet but will be soon. John was the 3rd top seller in the school. He did a good job. Nana took it to work and WOW she sold a lot. He was on the school ECTV yesterday morning and won a prize. He chose the compact CD player. He is in heaven. I had to go pick it up yesterday morning and when he got home that is all he did.

College Game Day ~ GO DAWGS!!!
Don't think that daddy and John missed us. They were pretty busy themselves. Georgia High School football started Friday night and College Game Day on Saturday. They went to the Cedartown vs. Pepperell game Friday night and left pretty early Saturday for the the UGA Game. They had a great time. John is a pretty BIG Georgia fan but just like his daddy as long as a ball is in the game then there is a reason to go.
Go Dawgs!!!
You never know who you'll see far away from home. There is Pastor Jason and Amy. We'll not a surprise since he once cheered for the DAWGS.
A visit with Family
A trip to visit family... Uncle Randy took Drew off on his first four wheeler ride. Drew was in heaven. Of course when it was time to rest Drew was ready to go again. That's all Drews talks about. He loved riding the four wheeler and playing cars in the dirt. My Drew is ALL Boy. I took Patrick for a ride and he liked it too. This trip was the three of us. John got to have some daddy time. (They had work and school)
Star Student of the Week!
John was star student the second week of school in August. Opps! Sorry I'm just getting the post up. I'm slow these days. He was so excited! They find out on Monday for the week before. Ms. Tillman bought his ice cream on that Friday. He was the first star of the week of the year. It goes to a different student every week. He stayed on green all week which is the good color. (green, yellow, red and white takes a trip to the office) Thursday was the last day of the month and he made a Touch Down. Got a special treat from the teacher for staying on green the whole month of August. There were only 3 students out of 16 that made a touch down. Yeah! for John.
